Another tactile texture photo that i captured, was the outside wall of my house. Again, it has a very unpredictable and complex pattern to it, but i think its the fact that there's certain areas that are a slight shade darker than other parts, which give it depth. The characteristics of this photo display a look/feel surface. Somewhat similar to the surface of a brick wall, this wall has a lot more going on, which makes the texture look a lot more rough and bumpy. If anything, this would be the cement filling in between all of the bricks. Although the majority of this photo deals with shades of white, i find this similar to the other texture exercise we did with different texts and typefaces.
Before taking this class, and becoming educated about all of the actual terms to design, i would just create things and liked the way it looked because of the aesthetics. For an album cover design, i had the idea of scanning a photo after crumbling it a couple times, to give it a worn out/ old look to it. I still have the photo, so i thought i would use the back of it for this exercise because i feel it goes hand in hand. This texture displays look, feel, and touch. Although there isn't really an organized pattern to this one, there is small valleys and high points which give the photo its depth and texture.
